Gatorade launched a new campaign where their customers can upload personal photos and have them posted to specially ordered Gatorade bottles. This product would be perfect for sports teams to order for their members, or for personal usage as well. What’s interesting is that these photos can be connected through user’s Facebook or Instagram accounts. http://www.gatorade.com/#Home
The featured application online allows the user to be innovative with different poster styles as well.
Why I’m Curious: Brands in the last couple years have been all about personalization and user experiences. Shoe companies started allow customers to create their own shoes, M&Ms started personalizing their candies, now Gatorade is creating user generating content on their bottles. Is this a smart move for Gatorade?
I was also curious as to why their was not a share feature on the website after creating the bottle. This digital platform might work better with a social aspect so that more people are introduced to Gatorades new innovative campaign.
