To introduce the new positioning “making memories last in a bold way”, HP invented the HP Photoball.
The HP Photoball consists of one huge blow up ball, a HD camera and a wifi-hub allowing the ball to stream photos and video live to both the festival stage and Facebook, where people who’s been near the ball could find their photo and tag themselves instantly. Plus a live cam feed to over 3 million people!
Why I’m curious:
It’s a great example of taking an existing behaviour and amplifying it with technology in a way that enhances the experience for both festival-goers and the online viewing audience.
