Facebook introduces updates for developers and marketers looking to run mobile app install ad campaigns in the news feed. The enhancements include the ability to target by specific versions of the Android and iOS operating systems, as well as by devices with only Wi-Fi connections.
This way, marketers can reach users with the version of their app that works best on their device. Additionally Facebook created a tool, to help developers and marketers design and deliver a mobile app install ad “in minutes.”

I am curious to know whether or not this will increase download rates. If so, Is this going to become habit for all developers as advertising becomes more integrated across all platforms?
