The Tutor Crowd, a London-based tutoring service, teamed up with Arc, to promote their business by ‘correcting’ errors in graffiti works throughout London. By using paint pens and stickers with their logo, they were aiming to make their tutoring group more approachable and fun. Non-London residents can view their work on thetutorcrowd.tumblr.com.
Why I’m Curious: Many of us have to repeatedly remind Clients to show not tell. This is clearly an example of demonstrating their offering in a disruptive way. I’m sure this also angers many London residents (not to mention the artists themselves), but making a seemingly conservative service a bit controversial isn’t such a bad thing.
