Google’s Real Time Insight Finder now combines all of Google and YouTube tools together for marketing research purposes. Now tools like Google trends, ad planner, YouTube dashboard, etc. can be reached from one place with clearly defined functionality.
Why I’m curious:
This is another effort for Google to educate marketers on SEM. It’s interesting to see how Google react to some rising doubts on the effectiveness of SEM. Earlier this week, eBay released a new research that argues SEM is all but worthless and has little or no impact on traffic and sales — except in marginal cases. However, Google studies argue SEM delivers clear and tangible benefits to advertisers and publishers.
