Utilizing the capabilities of a social platform like Pinterest makes it easy for people to get involved, while engaging in a behavior that they’re already doing: “pinning.” This kind of initiative can easily be translated to other areas where aid is needed, from helping get books to children in schools, to providing food to combat hunger.
