The Latest Chrome Experiment brings together Disney, Unit9, and Google in ‘Find Your Way To Oz’. The interactive experience showcases the capabilities of the browser utilizing content from the film, beginning with the wizard’s footsteps. Users can make music, put together a stop-motion animation and enjoy a trip on a blimp.
Why I’m Curious:
These in-browser experiments/experiences have ranged from Jam with Chrome to The Universal Orchestra Experiment (a collaboration with London’s Science Museum). Google is able to demonstrate the efficiency, power and speed of their browser in a truly entertaining way. And by partnering with a brand that has a devoted following, they are also able to tap into a new audience while simultaneously elevating both brands.
