2. Rise in tablet adoption will make 2nd screen experience more fundamental to how we produce and consume content – both in home and out.
POV – Tables are instruments of consumption – not instruments of (easy) creation.
Whilst I think this opens up a world of possibilities in terms of enhancing the experience of existing content or bringing new content / experiences to people, however it ultimately makes UGC harder and more unaccessible.
We need to consider this in how we market to people online. What are we asking people to do? Does it require creating, editing or enhancing content? If so it may start to equally make such campaigns and activity inaccessible to a new Tablet skewed world.
